Booboo Stewart attends 17th Annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival

Everyone looked their shimmery, glimmery best as filmmakers, musicians, and industry legends strolled the Red Carpet at the 17th Annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival’s Black Tie Awards Gala on Sunday night.

A steady queue of escorted honorees made their way down the red carpet for photos and interviews, including famed director Peter Bogdanovich and legendary actress Connie Stevens set to receive the Eve Craig Lifetime Achievement Award, Virginia Madsen who will be honored with The Founder’s Award for Outstanding Career Achievement in Film and Television as an Actress, “Twilight’s” Booboo Stewart, who will receive the Rising Star Award and “Paranormal’s” Oren Peli for The Pechanga Maverick Spirit Award.

Booboo Stewart Rising Star Honoree at TVIFF 2011

Booboo will be honored with the “Rising Star Award” at the 17th annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival, Sept. 18 at the Black Tie Awards Gala at the Pechanga Resort & Casino. The Festival runs from Sept. 14-18.

Festival Director Jo Moulton commented,“Mr. Stewart is an extremely gifted young talent. What he has accomplished to date at such a young age is remarkable. We are delighted to present The TVIFF’s Rising Star Award to Booboo Stewart.” Past young TVIFF award recipients include Kay Panabaker, Steve Rushton, Lucas Grabeel and Matthew Underwood.

For his diverse talents as an Actor, Writer, Producer, Musician, Athlete and Philanthropist and what is destined to be a long and brilliant career, the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival present Booboo Stewart with the TVIFF Rising Star Award.
